Olorunrinu, Adewuni Steers The BAT23 Obasa Movement Amuwo Chapter

The Amuwo chapter of the BAT23 The Obasa Movement has geared on plans to mobilize for the formal Inauguration which is schedules to hold on Thursday, 11th March 2021.

The Strategic mobilization meeting was held on Tuesday March 9th 2021 at the secretariat office in Festac Town, Amuwo-Odofin LGA, Lagos State.

The turnout was very impressive as leaders of various interest groups such as professional, artisans, market women, faith based organization, youth organizations and ethnic nationalities were in attendance.

Hon Dipo Olorunrinu, Immediate past House of Assembly member representing Amuwo Constituency II is the leader of the group while Alhaji Adewuni is the coordinator.

Olurunrinu, who is the convener, admonished the people that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is well prepared for the needed leadership to break the shackles of poverty in Nigeria.

He went further to assert the fatherly roles Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has played in building giants out of ordinary people since his sojourn in politics.

In his words,

Jagaban remains a reckonable institution in the history of Nigeria’s politics. The presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is big enough to accommodate all shades of opinions.
This is the trajectory that gave strength to friends and followers of Rt Hon Mudashiru Obasa, to institute BAT 23 THE OBASA MOVEMENT. This is to appreciate the Speaker, who has been speaking audaciously on behalf of forty constituencies in Lagos State, Who has also stood out for consistent Legislative proceedings and workable performing bills for our great state.

He enjoined them to mobilize massively for the formal inauguration of the group slated for Thursday 11th March.


The coordinator of the group, Alhaji Adewuni, emphasized in his remark that the group was formed to enlighten the populace on the need to have Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria in 2023.

Hon Olorunrinu in his closing remarks appreciated everyone for making out time to be part of the strategic meeting.
