The Akinlola’s Honours Late Parents with Fidau Prayer, Distributes Cash Palliatives of ₦5 Million to 200 People in Oriade LCDA
On Sunday, August 11, 2024, Oriade LCDA Chairman, Hon. Ramotalai Olanrewaju Akinlola-Hassan, along with members of the Akinlola Family, hosted a significant Islamic Prayer Session (Fidau) in memory of our late parents, Chief Yunusa Adisa Akinola a.k.a Double Chief and Mrs. Khadijat Awero Akinlola a.k.a. Major General.
This event, which drew an impressive gathering of dignitaries and community leaders, was highlighted by the disbursement of ₦25,000 cash palliatives to 200 attendees, a gesture aimed at supporting the less privileged in the community.
A mind-blowing lecture was delivered by Al-Imam Alh. Muh. Taofeek Harun Arogundade, the Chief Imam of Otto-Awori/Ijanikin, touched the hearts of all present.
Gracing the occasion were Esteemed Royal Fathers, including HRM Oba Gausu Alani Rasaki (Ovori of Ibeshe Kingdom), HRM Oba Abideen Adekanbi Durosinmi
Agunbioyinbo II (Osolu of Osolu and Irewe Kingdom), HRM Oba Abdul Azeez Oriyomi Shittu Adéyemí 1 (Olu Of Ibasa and Ijegun Egba), and Prince Rabiu Oluwa (GAC Member, Lagos State, and Apex Leader, Lagos West Senatorial District), graced the occasion witSpecial appreciation was also extended to Alh. Taofikat Oluwa, wife of Prince Rabiu Oluwa, Hon. G.T. Olukolu (Former House Of Representative Member, Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency), and Hon. Prince Tunde Ibrahim Sanusi (Former Executive Chairman, Oriade LCDA, Lagos State). In absentia were Hon. C.O. Ojelabi, APC Chairman of Lagos State, and Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro, Apex Leader of Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency.
This event was well-attended by the Oriade LCDA Executive Members, Legislative Arm, Management and Staff, NULGE Oriade LCDA, Party Leaders, CDA and Market Leaders, the Council of Imams led by Chief Imam Alh. Abdul Majeed Zakariyah (Chief Imam of Ijegun Egba), as well as representatives from the Arewa, North Central, and Ndigbo communities of Oriade LCDA
This event was a fitting tribute to the legacy of Chief Yunusa Adisa Akinola and Mrs. Khadijat Awero Akinlola, demonstrating the enduring impact of their lives on our community.
