Over 500 Families Benefit From Food Box in Amuwo Odofin + Photos

Christmas wasn’t the same for over 500 families in Amuwo Odofin as The Food Box 2024 event hosted by the Symphony of Praise (SOP) Initiative in partnership with Yeloto Inc. African Children Foundation was a huge success!

The event, which Held on December 21st at B-Zone Recreation Park, Jakande Estate, Amuwo brought smiles to 500 families, including 292 registered beneficiaries and 208 unregistered attendees.

The highlight of the day was the presence of Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong, who entertained the crowd, played games, and took photos with fans, making the event even more memorable.

Oluwaseun Ayeni, President of SOP Initiative, captured the heart of the event in his speech:
“This is about more than food; it’s about sharing hope, building unity, and showing love to our community.”
Other key moments included remarks and prayers by community leader Mr. Oluwaseyi Adegoke-Adeyemo and a heartfelt speech from Mr. Idowu, the Public Relations Officer of Yeloto Inc., who emphasized the power of collaboration in helping families in need.


The food boxes, packed with essential items like rice, garri, and seasoning, ensured families could celebrate Christmas with dignity.

SOP Initiative once again proved its commitment to uplifting the community and spreading joy.
