Children are the leaders of tomorrow, they are the future and hope of our great nation Nigeria and they deserve a good learning foundation.
Otherwise is the case at the popular Festac Junior college, Festac Town, Amuwo Odofin where the students are exposed such in-conducive learning environment.
Reports reaching us states that they have no chairs/ desks in their classrooms.1
It seems the government has abandoned these children and left them to their fate, no chairs , sometimes no teachers. Its sad .
In a class of 60 , only 2 – 5 chairs that are already bad can be found , the rest are left with the option to either sit on the floor or stand to learn .
Festaconline contributor paid a visit to the school according to him, they sit on tyres , planks and only 3 tables and chairs for over 50 students.
We are calling on the appropriate authorities to kindly act on this urgently
