The Peaceful protest from the Youths in Amuwo-Odofin community continued on Tuesday 13th October 2020.
Recall that the protest started Nationwide on Friday 8th October 2020 while in Amuwo-Odofin on 10th October 2020.
The peaceful protest saw to a huge number of coordinated and peacefull youths come out en mass to demand to an end to Police brutality in the LG as well as an End to The SARS police unit.
The protest took off from FHA Field in Festac Town through various areas, the crowd took a stop at the LG Secretariat, Festac Town demanding to the executive chairman.
The Crowd was addressed by some executives of the Amuwo-Odofin LGA Led by the Vice Chairman, Segun Idris.
Some persons relayed the bitter state of the situation to the executives, the harassment from the Police unit in areas within the community.
The Vice chairman, Segun Idris in response reassured the youths that all they have tabled before him would be addressed.
The protest left the LGA Secretariat and proceeded to the Apple Junction axis of Amuwo-Odofin where the protest continued for hours.
Present at the protests were youths, MC Radio, DJ Steve, Charles Okafor, Arch Bishop Samson Mustapha, Sound Sultan and Many others.
