Following the fracas of the APC Council primaries which held yesterday 27th May 2016 and ended in a terrible manner as those present scampered for safety from the Venue.
Amuwo-Odofin local government Secretariat caught fire in the middle of the night at about 1:30am.
Fire services and help from those alerted helped to salvage part of the building which houses the information office, DSS, Media, council manager, the chieftancy unit and office of the DSS in the local government as well as the present sole administration office.

hoodlums according to sources are either party embed or their stooges who were not happy with the outcome of the centralised chairmanship primaries held which produced former supervisor for works Valentine Buraimoh as candidate for the forthcoming local government elections in Lagos State.
This according to sources which spoke with was a direct fall out from the primaries which had Valentine victories.
Valentine was alleged the anointed candidate of former Chairman of the local government Comrade Ayodele Adewale who is known to be a die hard loyalist of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
