The 1st Ever Festac Town hall meeting held on the and was a success as the hall was filled up with both old and young.
The residents of Festac and Amuwo Odofin gathered for this great event, Attending the event were individuals , residents, service individuals, and business men and women etc. . The meeting also held across various local governments across Lagos State.
This meeting was organised so as to aid for interaction , ability to know and understand the challenges faced by residents and give a report to the people of his constituency on the progress so far.
Various issues were raised and were also attended to by the Host Hon Dipo Olorunrinu, representing Amuwo Odofin Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Amuwo Odofin rep and host stated that development at the grassroots would majorly aid good governance and growth of democracy adding that the major function as legislators is to make laws.
He was however quick to add that skill acquisition and recreational centres will be created to occupy and empower our youths just as he had already forwarded list of roads for repair to the Governor where work has since begun on some.
