Photostory: Evacuation Of Festac Drainage

Amuwo Odofin’s environmental department was seen, supervised by Hon. Gbenga Akinbinu, supervisor for Environment and Waste Management while they were cleaning up and evacuating drainages around Festac town.

Evacuation is being done to clear out our sewage channels to allow the free flow of sewage and avoid it clogging up and causing flood as well as enhancing healthy living.

Workers were seen evacuating the drainages on 31/21 road, 41 road, 4th avenue along 401 road, H Close, beside Festac Grammar School, 4th avenue along 401 road junction.

Instructions from the Executive Chairman Amuwo-Odofin LG, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh to the Supervisor for Environment and Waste Management is for them to continue with clearing of drainage and parking of debris from the road across Festac Town.
