The 2024 graduation and prize-giving ceremony at Pinkfields Academy, Satellite Town axis of Lagos State, was a heartwarming celebration filled with joy and pride.
Present were students, parents, and school management who came together to honor the remarkable achievements of the 2023/2024 school year.
The ceremony which held on the 20th of July 2024 at the school premises saw to recognition of Outstanding pupils with numerous awards and cash prizes, making it a memorable day of triumph and celebration.
Dr Ovie Edomi who was the chairman of the ceremony charged parents to invest in their children’s education and not to be discourage by the situation in the country today, assuring that there will always be job opportunities for the educated.
The Proprietress, Mrs Osita Ibeke in her congratulatory address to the graduating pupils, said all the years of hardwork in school has really paid off for the pupils as they all made it to the end.
“No doubt there was added stress, no doubt there was uncertainty, despite these challenges, the Lord prevailed and here we are as conquerors . It is important to note that you are all the products of the purposeful pursuit of all- round excellence that Pinkfields Academy Lagos offers”, the proprietress said.
Mrs Ibeke thanked the parents and teachers for all their efforts in churning out bright minds from the Academy.
” I will like to remind you that the life out there is wonderful and full of possibilities . Keep working hard for every ending , there is a new beginning, for every memory , there is a dream ahead.
“As you cherish the fruits of your hardwork, I wish that success accompanies you in all your endeavors . Dream new dreams my three sweet angels , embark on who God has made you to be , embrace life with passion and keep reaching for the stars .
” Look out for one another in the future. To my jewels still transiting to the Elementary , your journey will always end in praise , Amen”, the proprietress assured.
The highlights of the event was various performances in drama, dance, ballet among others by both graduating students and others.
The event’s highpoint was the presentation of awards to outstanding students, with Bolanle Lawal bagging the Overall Best graduating student. Other students were awarded with cash prizes from the Chairman of Pinkfields Academy Lagos, Mr Okey Ibeke, the Chairman of the event Dr Ovie Edomi, guests and parents. Prizes and certifications were also given to those other students who were outstanding.
