Gearing towards the 2019 General elections , political group based in Amuwo Odofin ,The Consolidation Group (TCG) founded by Comrade Ayodele Adewale organized a sensitization training program for various heads of Organization’s Monday 5th of March 2018.
The Organizations included all that makes up the Amuwo Odofin Local Government and Oriade LCDA community.
Explaining the need to educate their members on why they should register with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and get their voters card ahead of the 2019 general elections in Nigeria.
The meeting which was strictly for leaders of various organizations had its participants who gained from the sensitization cut across artisans, politicians, religious organizations, youth and women Organisation, traders, students, professional organizations and residents.
Also present were former aspirants in the 2017 Local Government election from APGA & Labour Party respectively , Mr. Chinedu Nwoye and Prince Jamiu Balogun.
The two gentlemen attended the meeting and promised to massive educate their followers and supporters to register with INEC and use their voters cards to vote massively for APC in the next general elections.
The organizational leaders that attended the meeting cut across Welder Association, LASTPAN, LASTFADAN, and a whole lot more.
The Participants observed some areas of importance that will make the exercise more successful and promised to mobilize their members to register and collect their PVC and also vote for APC
