Baden school has been thrown into uproar as the three-storey building which housed the school has collapsed in Lagos Island, Lagos State leaving several people feared dead, injured and others trapped.
The building which is located on Ita Faji Street, near Adeniji Adele Street in Victoria Island, also holds a primary school called Baden School said to be located on the top floor of the building with pupils feared killed and others trapped.
At about 10am, the building caved in, the cause of the collapse is yet to be ascertained.
Security operatives, emergency workers, some Lagos State government officials and many concerned citizens are currently trying to rescue persons trapped under the rubble, with ambulances at the scene to whisk the injured to hospitals.
