AmuwoGames 2019: Scrabble Defending Champions At It Again

The chess competition which took place at Chiller Bar, Amuwo-Odofin ended with style at the AmuwoGames 2019 edition.

The U13 Saw to eight teams for the final day and Festac Bullscame tops.

Representing Festac Sharks was Abeeb Aliyu and Noah Aminat, Representing Festac Unicorns was Abubakr Zubayar and Fawaz Tiamiyu, Representing Festac Elephants was Shamsudeen Aisha, representing Extension dolphins was Khawalah Bello.

Festac Bulls came top , with Festac Sharks following closely and GRA Rhinos coming third.

The Round Robin for the chess competition saw to Mile 2 Lions coming tops represented by Gboshe Adedamola while Festac Unicorns followed closely represented by Oghenero Osuaye and Bello Oladapo representing Festac Elephants coming third.

Mr Bisi Otubaga of Mile 2 Lions came first again in the scrabble free age category just as he did in the first edition of AmuwoGames2017.

While Master Okanlawon Ewa and Master Shittabey Olawale of same Mile 2 Lions came first in the under 13 and 17 Scrabble Categories respective

Also present during this years scrabble competition was Wellington Jighere , Nigeria’s Number 1 scrabble player to support the players during this years edition.
