Youths in Amuwoodofin stormed the community on Saturday 10th October 2020 to say No to SARS
For more than four days , there has been a global voice against the Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad known as SARS
There has been series of nationwide protest stemming from cimmulation of weeks of anger and outcry over claims of extortion, killings and harassment by the police unit.
The peaceful protest spanned the entire Amuwoodofin as youths from various areas in the local government all came out in mass to lament of the brutality.
Influencers, youth leaders and even Festac bred artist, YCEE , Indomix, Mc Prof all came out to lend their voices at the protest.
The protest was taken round Festac Town, to apple junction and ended at Second Rainbow.
The protest got the local government secretariat and then moved to the Area E Police station to state the claims and lament on the constant brutality of the police unit harassment of innocent youths.
