 See The Men Who Killed Emmanuel  Uba In Festac

Suspected Murderers of Emmanuel  Uba Apprehended 

July 21 2017, Polar and well known Socialite, Emmanuel Uba aka Onwa was murdered in cold blood in Festac Town, Lagos , the eve of LG polls.



Good news, the police police have apprehended the suspects behind the murder.

According to the nation, 4 assassin’s have been arrested and also the arms used in commuting the murder was also found.

The suspects are Fata Onifade aka Apase, Abidemi Kolawole aka Baidu ,Mufutai Tokosi aka TK and Micheal Fashola.

Apase confessed to organising the assassination with reasons being Onwa was more politically influential than himself which was making him less influential.

Baido, was the one who called Onwa inviting him for a meeting at 7th Avenue where he was killed.

TK  and Micheal are the cultists hired by Apase to assassinate Emmanuel Uba.

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos, Imohimi Edgal, who confirmed the arrest to journalists, said that the arrest was made after a family member of the deceased petitioned the police over the murder.

Mr. Edgal said that the Inspector- General of Police Intelligence Response Team, IRT, investigated the case after receiving the petition in August.

“The petitioner, a pastor, alleged that on 21 July, at about 8 p.m., he received a phone call that the deceased had been murdered by some gunmen at Festac Town, Lagos and robbed of his three mobile phones.

“In the course of investigation, the I-G IRT were deployed to Festac Town/ Iba Estate respectively to unravel the mystery surrounding the murder where all the suspects were arrested.

“One berretta pistol with two rounds of live ammunition and one pump action gun were recovered from them.

“All suspects will be charged to court soon,” Mr. Edgal said. (NAN)

The suspects told newsmen that they did not plan to kill, but only to harass him. They said that one Fashola shot him against their plan.

They were arrested by the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) team led by Philip Rieninwa, a Deputy Superintendent of Police in Lagos.

Before his assassination,    Emmanuel Ikechukwu Uba, Onwa was the Head of FESTAC Town/Amuwo-Odofin Community Policing Youth Vanguard. He was suspected to be a police informant.

Investigation continues.
