On the evening of 1st of August 2016 , O close 3rd avenue was thrown into panic as one of the Semi-duplex in the close caught fire.

According to festacOnline source , it was the house before the hospital that caught fire and it was almost affecting the roof of the hospital. Fire In Festac As 4 Flats Burnout

It was a normal Tuesday in festac but it turned out to be something else. As at now the fire is still raging and No fire services have shown up. Update Fire services just arrived

Fire Guts Duplex in Festac

At around 2pm, fire started in a family building in 5th avenue P close. Men of the Fire service came after some time, also the police was around the area to guard and curtail the incident. The cause of the fire is yet unknown.
