Saturday 31st Of May 2025 was a remarkable and memorable day for the Residents of Amuwo-Odofin as they played host to launching and fund raising event by the Festival Town Residents Association (FTRA) as they launched an ambitious fundraising campaign for the construction of a state-of-the-art multipurpose Secretariat.
The Festival Town Residents Association (FTRA) is set to host a special fundraising and launch event for the development of its new secretariat building, a milestone project aimed at giving the association a more befitting and functional structure.
Residents in the FESTAC Town estate had raised arguments and concerns about the proposed verification of properties in the estate. They were also worried about the ongoing verification. The financial implications of the exercise were another concern.

A joint committee of FTRA and CBAAC paid a courtesy call to the Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin LG Engineer Valentine Buraimoh to intimate him and get his support for the 40th Anniversary celebration of Festac Town.
