See The Date For Local Government Elections – LASIEC
The tenure of the incumbents, who have been in power since 2017, will expire in July.
After a long wait and pressure from the people for LASIEC to release plans for the council elections, a date has been scheduled.
In a statement on Tuesday, April 20th 2021, Ayotunde Philips chair of Lagos State Independence Electoral Commission (LASIEC) announced that the local government council poll is planned to hold in July 2021.

The Long awaited date for the Lagos state Local Government Elections have been announced by LASIEC, The LAGOS state independent electoral commission.
