Amuwo-Odofin is set to make history this August with the debut of TEDxFestac Town, the first-ever TEDx event in the area, themed Awaken 2025.
Far more than a conference, Awaken 2025 is a rallying call to ignite thought, spark action, and amplify the hidden brilliance of Festac’s voices. For years, the stories of this community have been underheard. That changes now.
The one-day event will gather dynamic speakers, performers, and changemakers from across disciplines to challenge assumptions, celebrate heritage, and re-imagine the future together. From innovation to identity, cybersecurity to neurodiversity, music to memory, TEDxFestac Town promises a stage where ideas worth spreading flow from Festac to the world.
