NO FUGAZI TOUR kicked off on a LOUD note on Sunday November 14th, as artistes graced the event at Grasshoppers Place, 1st Avenue, K close Festac.

The Tour which is presently in it’s fifth year, started in 2017 as a platform to expose Artistes across Nigeria’s foremost Entertainment City and lifestyle.
It also serves as a talent discovery and incubation platform, where Artistes participate annually to horn their musical careers, with the motive of linking them to potential music distribution companies and labels.
This year’s theme is – NO FUGAZI TOUR, a music slang (lamba) for no fakes allowed. We are focused on Artistes who have set themselves apart in the music business, talented and disciplined enough to compete with the Main stream Artistes.
The Festac Music Tour is also a crowdfunding platform that encourages artistes to pool resources together and go on tour together and explore.
The Long term goal is to promote afrobeat and afrofusion across the world and explore every Afro community in the world, discovering and networking creatives both in the diaspora and in Africa.
Artistes showed up from Ogun state, Ojodu Berger, Iyana ipaja, ojo, mile 2, Festac, Ikeja Ajegunle, ikorodu and Surulere.
The top finalists are to benefit viral music video shot in Festac Town, studio sessions with Festac Legendary Artistes- Rock Steady, Mallam Spicey, Ojo and others.
The opening also coincided with the Birthday of the Founder of the Tour, Barrister Emeka Obidiebube, an entertainment lawyer, talent manager and CEO of Booponetime, a new media outfit based in Festac.
The audience were thrilled by the Talents amidst cheers and fan fare.
Festac Music Tour Merchandise are available at the venues and sell for N3500 (tees) and N2500 for Snapback caps.
