On Tuesday, 6th June 2023, a container-laden truck en route lost control and rammed into an Eatery.
The affected eatery was the Sweet sensation restaurant at the Apple Junction axis of the community.
The truck was seen to have been coming from the Ago axis towards the apple junction.
The truck climbed over the culvert and crashed into several electric poles and into the compound of the restaurant.
This created serious panic amongst commuters and customers, and the accident led to serious traffic en-route to Apple Junction till late in the evening
As at this time of reporting, no human casualties have been recorded
