Amuwo Odofin axis of Lagos state has gotten some attention from the Lagos state government recently as some roads are currently under reconstruction.
The axis that has gotten attention is the Oriade axis of Amuwo-Odofin LGA which is known to be synonymous with unmotorable roads which have lead to the lamentation of residents for many years and counting. The Buba Marwa road has been highlighted and is currently undergoing reconstruction.
The Burba Marwa road which is in the Ijegun-Egba axis of the LGA is known to play host to tank farms and industries and has a high volume of tankers and articulated trucks.
The construction is said to be at 31% completion and a fully concrete road. Residents are pleading with the contractors and the state government to hasten the pace of the work as it is said to be slow.
