Youth Empowerment Program Ends Phase 1 + Photos

The Youth Empowerment program which kicked off on 16th October 2017 , ended it’s First Phase .

It was a joyous mood for all the trainees who were fully engaged in the last two (2)weeks through the Empowerment programme organized by the Legislators of Amuwo Odofin Local Government in conjunction with Morning Star Humanitarian Foundation.


Testimonies were randomly rendered by the participants who believed to have gained Academically, Socially, Physically and Financially.

Over five hundred (500) Students participated in all the departments which includes Arts & Crafts, Bead Making, Catering, Tailoring, Soap Making , Makeup, Hat Making etc.


Some of the teachers were honoured by their Students through gifts and kind. 

In the closing remarks Hon. Micheal Ojomo enjoined the students to make use of what had been gained in order to foster their financial embodiment and not been seen as liabilities to the society for meagre job on little salary.

Hon. Oshodi -Abimbola, Oluwasegun, the initiator of the training programme also commended participates and also informed that the Graduation Ceremony of the Free Training Programme will come up on November 10th, 2017 at the Council Hall.
