6th September 2026 was a black Sunday in the Abule-ado axis of Amuwo-Odofin LGA as Two people were reportedly killed in a fatal road accident on the Alakija-Abule-Ado Road after a motorcycle allegedly drove against traffic and collided with a trailer.
According to eyewitness accounts received by FestacOnline, the incident occurred when an okada rider and another person, reportedly a soldier, were said to have followed a one-way route before running into the trailer.
Witnesses at the scene reportedly said the impact was fatal, with two people believed to have died in the crash.
One eyewitness described the scene as severe, saying one of the victims sustained fatal head injuries.
