Amuwo-Odofin played host to the unity stakeholders forum of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Festival Hotel, Amuwo-Odofin on the 6th of February 2023.
Present at the event were the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Obafemi Hamzat, Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon, and Senator Musiliu Obanikoro among others.
Also, it served as the campaign trail of the APC Senatorial Candidate, Dr. Adebule as she engaged the political stakeholders and community leaders in Amuwo-Odofin LGA and its sister council, Oriade LCDA.
The Stakeholders meeting was held to galvanize unison amongst members and review its campaign strategies for its Presidential, Governorship, and other positions ahead of the February, 25 elections.
Obafemi Hamzat charged APC members in Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency to respect party decisions, consolidate on the achievements of the party in Lagos State and ensure that it emerges victorious in the forthcoming general elections.
Hamzat charged the leadership to be inclusive in all their approaches as everyone has a role to play towards the party’s success.
Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, in his address, stated that the meeting was for party members to unify all aggrieved persons and be intimated with plans, decisions, and strategies on how to be victorious in the forthcoming general elections.
Obanikoro recounted how the efforts of dedicated members at the local government helped the party emerge victorious in the last election even though the party’s performance was abysmally poor, he charged them on the need to represent APC and avoid mingling with opposition parties.
