The local government elections held yesterday, 24th July 2021 giving double victory to the APC in the Amuwoodofin LGA.
Valentine Buraimoh clinched his second term bid under the All Progressive Party, APC.
It was a landslide winning as APC had 5645 against the major opposition party who had 2937.
Eko Akette Ward delivered the highest votes for the party in the Chairmanship position in Amuwo LG
For Oriade LCDA, The candidate of the APC , Hon Ramotalai Hassan had a landslide victory with 18122 votes, giving her a second term slot as the chairman of Oriade LCDA.
Ibeshe Ward delivered highest votes for the party with 4734 votes, while 658 votes for PDP
The PDP Candidate, Mr Jide had a total of 3232 votes.
