As the 2023 election draws very near, in order to allow our community and its residents to make informed decisions, Festaconline Media presents a series, 3 Minutes with the candidates where you get to know briefly those who intend to represent us in the forthcoming elections.
My name is Stella Foluke Osafile, I am a wife, I’m a mother and I’m an ordained minister of the gospel and I am vying for Lagos state House of Assembly, Amuwo Odofin constituency 1, which covers Abule-ado, Ado-soba, Festac town, Mile 2 housing estate down to some parts of Ago and Ijesha.
Why should people vote for you?
Well, over the years, Amuwo Odofin has not really enjoyed the dividend of democracy, and all the while, we’ve been full of lamentations, all we do is just lament, pray, and do nothing. So I have decided to come on board fully to have my own input because over the years I have been involved in selfless service, especially in the church, so I decided to come on board now to the larger society.
What would you do when voted in?
Being voted to office, I will make sure that Amuwo Odofin 1 is well represented, human-friendly bills, a habitable environment, operation adopt your street, where all will be inclusive, It won’t be a government of I know it all, there will be a representation of Festac resident association especially, the communities, the estates, they will have the impact that truly they are part of this government.
One thing missing in Amuwo?
There are several things but the major one is the dilapidated infrastructure or the none existing ones in some parts of Abule-ado now.
