Baale’s And Community Stakeholders Hosted By LG: See Why

An interactive meeting, hosted by the administration of Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh, council chairman, Amuwo-Odofin Local Government. with the theme ‘The Importance of Synergy and Cooperation for community prosperity’

In attendance were traditional chiefs and stakeholders across rural areas in Amuwo-Odofin, while the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Community Affairs, Mrs. Bolarinwa Kikelomo A. was a Keynote speaker.

It was explained why synergy, and cooperation is important for peoples prosperity. emphasizing that security and welfare of the people are the critical component of a prosperous community.

Amongst other things spoken about was the initiation of monthly food palliative for indigents across communities, the “Food for all Stakeholders” Initiative as approved by the council chairman, designed to provide food palliative every month for indigent community residents.

The council chairman was acknowledged for his commitment to the development and prosperity of rural communities, highlighting the newly constructed primary healthcare center at one of the riverine communities, the rehabilitation of all the primary schools in the rural areas, and the welfare of indigents.

The climax of the event was the recognition award bestowed upon The Permanent Secretary, the Council Chairman, and two other stakeholders; The Bale of Agala, Onisiwo Island, Chief Yisa Okesina, and the MD/CEO, O&O logistics, Mr. Oladimeji Olaseni for their contributions to the development of rural communities across the local government and the state by extension.
