The month-long musical competition tagged Battle of the sounds Amuwo edition by Bizzybody ended on Sunday November 25th 2018.
The event which was the closing ceremony and the finals of the battle took place at the popular primary school in Mile 2, Amuwo Odofin.
Attending and gracing the event were top celebrities in the community and outside such as Indomix, African China, Gt Da Guitarman, Kpeace and many others, media brands, contestants, teams and of course the residents.
The five genres which had 3 finalists each thrilled the audience and crowd with their performances, and the judges gave their verdict.
Winning the Acapella and Rap genre were the Saturn stars , winning the Afro-pop and reggae genres were the M2 Mecuries while Uranus 77 took home the gold medal for Fuji genre .
Alongside the 500,000 naira cash prize to be won be the winners , there were other cash prizes , consolation gifts such as Samsung Phones which were given to three winners ; the most versatile artiste, best team lead and only female act in the competition.
Amongst others were Recording deals were also sealed with winners and runner-ups.
