Owing to the alarming increase of the Coronavirus Disease , Covid-19 globally, Five New cases have been confirmed in Nigeria.
The newly confirmed cases was made known to the public, 18th March 2020 by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
5 new cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria bringing the total number confirmed cases in Nigeria to 8.
All 5 cases had a travel history to the UK/USA.
According to the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, three of the victims came from the United States of America including a mother and child while the other two came in from the UK.
He added that four of the cases were identified in Lagos while one was identified in Ekiti.
