Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, joined residents of Amuwo-Odofin on Saturday August 30th for the monthly environmental sanitation exercise in the Festac Town axis of the LGA
Hamzat who attended the exercise alongside his wife, Mrs. Oluremi Hamzat were welcomed by the LGA Chairman, APC caniddates in Amuwo-Odofin as well as the as residents who all participated in the cleanup across the local government area
The deputy govenor also engaged with residents as well as cleaners who were present for the August Monthly sanitation.
The monthly sanitation exercise is part of efforts to encourage residents to take responsibility for keeping their communities clean and maintaining a healthier environment.
The Deputy Governor’s visit brought additional attention to the exercise in Amuwo-Odofin, as residents carried out cleanup activities within their neighbourhoods.
