APC Officially Welcomes Dipo Olorunrinu+ Photos

the current sitting member representing Amuwp-Odofin Constituency I at the  Lagos State house of Assembly, Amuwo – Odofin has officially been welcomed to APC in Amuwo-Odofin.

It was all joy and excitement at the meeting of the Apex body of All Progressive Congress party, APC, Amuwo-Odofin which took place at the local government secretariat, Festac Town.

According to Dipo Olorunrinu,

“My reasons to leave the Peoples Democrative Party are solely because I am a progressive. My core values are to use the leadership position bequeathed upon me by my creator to emancipate my constituency from the grips of poverty, stagnancy, and challenge the thinking of young people to strive for greatness. Unseating and unsettling the incumbent executive Chairman, in person of Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh has never been in my agenda, I come in peace to contribute to the family of progressives” he said.

He also explained that he made a request for this meeting at the state level to disassociate himself from the rumour going around town that he was deflecting into the APC to rock the boat of the peace enjoyed by the Local Government..

Present were  executive chairman of Amuwo-Odofin LG ,Chairman of Apex leaders, Alhaja Ajao

Recall that recently Honourable Dipo Olorunrinu decamped from Peoples Democratic Party into the All progressive congress.

The chairman said

“permit me to say, this is a homecoming event for my brother and his team. In Amuwo-Odofin we are one big family. Politics and politricks are just one way of expressing our divergent views to life. When he came to me to seek my support during his campaign exercise to be returned to the house, I declined that just as he is reckoned to be a man of integrity, I would also want to uphold my loyalty to my Party the APC. Several things happened during the election. Those are bygone, it’s the rules of the game. I am elated to see my brother come home and also accompanied by some of our long lost brothers and sister, today is a day of celebration”- Valentine Buraimoh
