Extortion Cases from Festac Highest In Lagos -Police PRO Says

CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, has said that the police force receives more cases of extortion carried out by officers from its FESTAC town division than any area in the Lagos state Metropolis.

This statement was made in a reaction and response to a Twitter user who recounted how police officers extorted his younger brother on November 22 2022 in the Amuwo-Odofin LGA.

Reacting to the tweets, Adejobi called on the state police PRO and the state Commissioner of Police to flush out the erring officers in the area.
