On the 8th of June 2022 saw to the two popular basketball groups/teams in Festac Town axis of Amuwo-Odofin LGA play a friendly game at the recently revamped basketball court by Hennessey.
This particular match-up had been scheduled for a while ago but due to environmental factors (rain) it was not able to hold.
The two teams which are the Festival Basketball Federation of 23 Rd and Dream Ballers of 24 Rd had a friendly match amongst themselves.
The day started off energetic as both sides has all the ginger ready to go for the day. The Dream Ballers was coached by Onyeka and FBF was coached by Kunle.
After the first half, the Dream Ballers were literally sailing through the game as they were ahead of the game with a score line of 33-14.
In the second half, FBF woke up and put up a fight and ended with a score line of 16-20.
The game came to an end with Dream Ballers 49 – 34 FBF. There might be a return leg where the FBF go to the home of the Dream Ballers, which is at 24road, A close, Festac Town.
