Super Eagles forward Nnamdi Oduamadi has finally departed Italian Serie A giants, AC Milan after eleven years with the club.
The 27-year-old joined the Italian giants in 2008 before signing a first professional contract with the club in 2009.
However, since then, he has been loaned out to various clubs in Italy including Torino, Varese, Brescia, Crotone and Latina before his last stint with HJK in Finland.
In a thank you message to the club on his Instagram handle, he wrote,
“It’s been an amazing 11 years journey for me. Journey of success, trials and winning. I want to thank AC Milan for believing in me when I was signed 11 years ago. I count it a privilege to wear and play in this great club’s Jersey.
“I want to thank them for their ever so strong support towards my career. They have shown me love like a family but unfortunately a time comes when you get to move on.
“Moving on, I appreciate this club and all her historic achievements. Thanks so much to the fans and friends I have made here.
“I will miss this family and wish it the very best. Looking forward to what the bright future holds for me. Thank you ♥♥♥.”
Oduamadi has been out of favour for the Super Eagles with his last appearance being at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup in which he scored three goals against Tahiti in their opening match.
