Festac extension residents would soon have relief as their cries and pleas have been heard alas.
On Sunday, September, 14th, the Executive Chairman, Engr. Valentine Buraimoh, Lagos State house of assembly, Hon. Mojisola Alli-Macaulay, and other stakeholders paid a visit to the axis in Amuwo-Odofin LGA .
The lawmakers lead the team from the Ministry of Environment on an inspection tour of all the drainage’s in Amuwo-Odofin LGA and Festac extension wasn’t left out.
The permanent secretary promised to expedite action so as to prevent any occurrence of an emergency originating from flooding.
The CDC chairman, and one of the early settlers of Festac community, Pa Jola Ogunnusi was also present to furnish the team with a blue print of the drainage and sewage system of community.
“The documents will go a long way towards guiding on the best approach to engage in tackling the many sewage challenges we have seen at the course of the tour” the permanent secretary from the Ministry of Environment explained.
