The popular market located in Festac Town, Agboju Market located at 2nd avenue , Festac Town, Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos State.
The demolition of the market occurred on Friday May 25th 2019 as stalls and shops were destroyed.
Festaconline speaking to an executive of the local government , The traders have been given due notice severally even more than six months ago.
Also a trader , name withheld said that they have been given notice for several years but nothing has done to that effect, but this time they were surprised that actions were taken.
The market even though parts of it were demolished still see to a high traffic of buyers and sellers of which most of them took over the inner roads and set up their markets.
