#FestaconlineVoices Presents another interesting segment as one of the residents in the Amuwo-Odofin Community has anonymously reported an experience

A man had given details of how some policemen from the Lagos State Police Command extorted the sum of N51,000 from him on a road when he was on his way home from the Lagos Airport.

The man, whose Twitter handle is @six_immortal, disclosed in a series of tweets how policemen from the FESTAC Division stopped him around Apple Junction in the Mile 2 area of the state and eventually made him allegedly transfer the money.

According to him, he was coming from the Murtala Muhammed Airport and was on his way home when the policemen stopped the vehicle he was in, and after checking his bag and phone, they did not allow him to go.

He added that they drove him around from Apple Junction to Doba Junction and later to First Gate, forcing him to transfer the sum of N51,000 from the app found on the phone before eventually allowing him to go.

Displaying the transaction details on his Twitter handle, the man said that while they were talking, one of the policemen even gave him his WhatsApp number.
