It’s a sad incident where a teenager was defiled and impregnated in the Amuwo-Odofin axis of Lagos State.
According to information gathered, a 24-year-old man, Jacob Ekene, and his accomplice Olamilekan Saidi have been nabbed by the authorities.
While Saidi fled after getting wind of the information that policemen were on his trail, Ekene was arrested.
A Magistrate’s Court in Yaba, Lagos State remanded Jacob Ekene at Ikoyi Correctional Center for allegedly impregnating a 14-year-old girl at her aunt’s residence in the Amuwo Odofin, Lagos.
Magistrate P. E. Nwaka remanded Ekene after being arraigned on three counts of conspiracy, r*pe, and inflicting bodily harm.
Ekene was said to have carried out the act with his friend, Olamilekan Saidi.
The incident occurred after the victim’s aunt, who helped the suspect register his National Identification Number card, told him to come to her house to pick it up.
