It was a great day at Ideal Nursery/Primary school, Festac Town Lagos when they received brand new sets of furnitures on Friday 24th May 2019.
The set of furniture which included chairs, tables for the students was donated by Councillor Ward K, Amuwo-Odofin in partnership with Radiance Nursery/Primary school and Green Carpet Foundation.
According to the councillor,Honourable Adewunmi Ogunshina, the donation was carried out as a resolve in ensuring public primary schools in Amuwo Odofin LGA maintain and improve on their existing structures,and to to complement the efforts of Government in enabling a conducive environment for the pupils.
Present at the presentation were dignitaries such as Director of School Support Lagos State Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Mr Ade Avatar and the Head of ECCDE unit Mrs Hilda Twins, immediate past Executive Chairman Comrade Ayodele Adewale , Prince Aten (representative of Hon (Mrs) Omotanwa Olusi), Engineer Chuba Menkiti (Rep. Radiance secondary school), Branca CEO Mr Chidi, NUT deputy chairman Amuwo Odofin Comrade Onafeso, Mr Jide Ijimakinwa, students and teachers of the school.
