Following the recent increase in the rate of newly confirmed cases of the Covid-19 , Coronavirus in Nigeria especially in Lagos State, a new ban on gatherings in the state has been announced.
The ministry of information and strategy announced the ban on gatherings both religious and social, of more than 20 persons.
In order to enforce this Ban, the gov has dispersed law enforcement team after residents engaging in religious, social gatherings, parties or clubs to disperse crowd and arrest perpetrators.
Recall that earlier in the week, the ban on social gatherings was not more than 50 Persons.
The toll on confirmed cases in Nigeria has increased, and as at this time of this report, there are 22 Total confirmed cases, 10 New cases added on 21st March 2020 while 2 have been discharged.
