Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh, Executive Chairman, Amuwo-Odofin Local Government in his plight to create suitable working environment for public servants to enable efficiency in carrying out their service, officially presented official vehicles to the Secretary to the local government and some supervisors.
The chairman in his presentation speech made it known that these were the first set of gifts, as a second set was yet to come. And also highlighted that the reason behind the car gifts was so the officers can be dutiful, as the vehicles are only instruments to make their tasks easier for them.
Mrs. Adekemi Osho, the Secretary to the local government in an acceptance speech pledged on behalf of the other appointees to be committed to the work ahead of them.
He’s buying cars instead of fixing the roads in Festac and Satellite. Or is it not the same bad roads they’re expected to drive on?
