Battle Of The Sounds 2018: Organizers Announce New Venue for the Opening Ceremony

With barely 48 hours to go, the organizers of the Battle of the Sounds have taken to their Social media platforms to announce a change in the venue to be used for the opening ceremony of the musical contest.

The event which is planned to run through all weekends in November will now have its opening ceremony done at Suki Basketball Court at 24 road, A close in Festac Town.

This was made public on Thursday November 1 on an Instagram post with the caption below:

“Announcement!

After so much effort to get the landlords to allow us use the open space at their mall for this community project, they refused to give approval.

This we think is the not too big for them to give as a part of this same community where they make money from.

Anyway, though we are not happy about this, the show must go on!

We are moving to then STREETS, cuz that is where we should battle from in the first place 😁

The Battle of the Sounds – Amuwo Edition’s opening ceremony will now hold at Suki’s Basketball Court at 24 road, A close, Festac town.

We will move to 3 other venues after this. We will publish these venues on our platforms to keep you updated.

November 3 is almost here, save the date and plan to turn up by 12 noon. We are still in your hood 💪”

The ceremony will hold on Saturday, the 3rd of November, 2018 by 12noon as earlier planned.
