Ola Folorunsho Olaitan, popularly known as Ola Western, has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat representing Amuwo-Odofin Constituency I ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Folorunsho secured a total of over 3,000 votes to defeat other aspirants in the party’s primary election, marking a decisive outcome in the contest for the legislative ticket. A total of 3303 votes were collated, Omoniyi bagged 35 votes, Adesina bagged 47 votes , Olaitan Segun 60 Votes , and Folorunsho 3161 Votes
The primary election which held at Various wards, Ward A,B,C,K drew delegates from across the constituency, is part of the APC’s internal process to select candidates for the upcoming general elections.
The result confirmed Folorunsho as the party’s flagbearer for Amuwo-Odofin Constituency I, positioning him for the contest in the 2027 Lagos State House of Assembly election.
Political observers say the margin of victory reflects strong delegate support within the party structure in the constituency.
The outcome adds to a series of political developments within Amuwo-Odofin as parties continue to conclude their primaries and align candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
