It is always a harvest of surprises at the Paddysco Sports Academy for Kids as children display some amazing dribble skills and breathtaking runs that not even their parents or guardians had imagined were latent in them.
Exhibiting a semblance of the skills of their local and international football idols, the kids always have more than their bargain as they kick the balls around.
The regular training sessions which usually hold at the Astroturf Soccer Arena at 7th Avenue Primary School, Festac Town at as early as 7am on Saturdays , witnesses troops of both male and female kids of 4 years to 14 years.
The training sessions features several games such as Football, Athletics, Aerobic Exercises, Ballet Dance and other Fun Games. Other activities include sports seminars, talent discovery, skills assessment, fitness drills, etc.
Speaking to the Chief Executive of Paddysco Sports Academy, Mr. Peter Azunnaya Okereke, he affirmed that these kids defy all odds to stake their fitness potentials and readiness for tutelage.

Meanwhile, a parent at the Training session, Mr. Kizito Nwobi, said that bringing his son to the programme has added more zeal to his fitness goal, adding:
“He’s been doing well socializing, and fitness-wise he is getting better. “It is not just about fitness and sports, it is also about meeting people, interacting and socialising with them, seeing what others are doing better and tapping from them.”
He added: “The facility here and the exercise regime are quite ideal and I’ve seen the impact on my child and strongly recommend it to anyone who has a child.”
The academy is presently preparing for their Sports Fiesta & Awards coming up on Sunday, 16th December 2018 with Church Thanksgiving at the 8.30am Mass at Catholic Church of the Visitation, Festac and Reception at 1.00pm at Astro Soccer Arena, 7th Avenue, Festac.
