Police Command Meets Stakeholders In Festac Ahead of March 11 Elections

The Nigerian Police Force, Area E Command, ably led by ACP Olusegun Ajomolaya initiated stakeholder meetings with various groups across its entire command.


The meeting was supported by the Executive Chairman, Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Valentine Buraimoh took place inside the Henry Ajomale Hall in the council secretariat.


The crux of the meeting was to get feedback from residents on the effectiveness of policing during the presidential elections and what needs to be done to improve before, during, and after the elections.


The police chief said the institution is committed to its statutory responsibilities and would be needing the cooperation of the general public to serve it better and professionally.


Participants responded accordingly making suggestions while identifying areas in policing that must improve.
The council chairman who was in attendance commended the efforts of the police and its partnership with his administration for sustaining peace and security across its command. He also promised to continue to support the institution and strengthen its relationship in the interest of the greater good of the community.


The council chairman also appealed to stakeholders present to always see the need to cooperate with the police for improved policing.
