A popular and well visited Festac Town Filling Station in Amuwo Odofin area of Lagos State has been deserted and out of operations.
The Festac Town Filling Station is the Forte Oil filling station located on 21 Road located which is one of the highly patronized station in Festac Town which sells both fuel and engine lubricants for motor vehicles.
For 48 hours and counting, the station has been out of operations , the gates have been shut and no staff seen on sight. The only thing functioning is the adjoining ATM within.
According to our source, the station seized operations due to its staff going on strike over unpaid salaries and renumerations.
The salaries of workers at the station for over 3 months were not paid and they decided to stop working until they were paid.
Residents are advised to use alternative stations till management resolve this .
