Preserved Generation Schools in Amuwo-Odofin LGA has held its graduation ceremony, with 22 pupils marking the completion of their respective stages of learning.
The ceremony brought together pupils, parents, teachers and members of the school community for a celebration that also gave the graduating pupils an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents.
A total of 10 pupils graduated from Year 6, while another 12 pupils graduated from Nursery 2.
The pupils played an active role in the ceremony, with some serving as masters of ceremony, while others performed with the school band, delivered presentations and took part in other activities during the event.
The school also recognised pupils across different classes with awards for academic performance and other areas, including Literacy and Numeracy.
Among the pupils identified by the school for outstanding performance were Keon Chidiebere, Imolede Olukunle, Ilondu Kenenna, Jasmine Nnah, Ilondu Chizitelu and Faleye Jeiel.
The ceremony was also an opportunity for the school to highlight its emphasis on developing pupils beyond academics, particularly in areas such as confidence, leadership, public speaking and participation in school activities.
The school’s Proprietor and Proprietress, Dr Kingsley Okonkwo and Pastor Mildred Okonkwo, were not present at the ceremony.
The graduating pupils are now set to move on to the next stage of their educational journey.
