4th of May 2022 saw to serious havoc caused by the weather in the Amuwo Odofin LGA, Lagos state, Nigeria
the entire weather changed all of a sudden to an aggressive gush of wind and after, a heavy downpour of rain.
The heavy rain fell for about 30 minutes before gradually reducing to drizzles.
The wind which came with the rain caused havoc around the community from trees falling , buildings shaking and even to an extent of moving people.
Speaking to a resident in the Amuwo community, he lamented how bad the wind was that even the carport in his shop was shaking badly and his roof got broken.
In this same feat , a very tall and heavy coconut tree was totally blown off its root somewhere in the 3rd Avenue Axis of Festac Town, Amuwo Odofin.
The tree fell by the road causing obstructions to residents and commuters.
It would have been a total different news had it been it was when school children closed from school.
Also another tree fell at the FHA FIELD 24 road axis of Festac Town.
