Better days are coming for road users in Festac Town, Amuwo-Odofin, as roads rehabilitation has increased pace of work with full force and in progress.
Festac Town , is gradually taking shape with regards to infrastructure as rehabilitation work commenced four weeks ago.
According to the Amuwo Odofin Local Government Chairman, Valentine Buraimoh he said no economic development could take place anywhere with dilapidated road network, which is why the roads re-construction and rehabilitation were taken seriously.
In a chat the LG Chairman said all the major roads to be rehabilitated would be interlocked, we don’t rush into road construction, fix it well lets move on , all the major roads and he enjoined residents to be patient.
In some parts of Festac town , failed roads have been rehabilitated. A major road is the 11 Road and 31 Road which have been completed and interlocked.

I am happy that we complained and our roads have been fixed , lets now watch out for those digging roads for running of Pipes illegally. – Mr Chike Nwosu.
