The series of road rehabilitation of bad roads in Festac Town still continues.
The road linking second avenue to 23 road has finally gotten its share of repairs.
The initial palliative work done was scrapped and interlocking blocks have been resorted to as against asphalt.
Mr. Frank Iyande, a resident commends the work, in his words he said,
“The little pain to navigate alternative route while the work is ongoing cannot be compared to the relief we will enjoy when completed. I am happy!”
The rehabilitation of that axis has now been completed , certified and opened for use by motorists and residents.
Also the LG Chairman gave immediate instructions to drainage department to evacuate the blocked drainage leading to the buffer zone to allow free flow of water so as for the work done to last longer.
